Hi there! We're Tyler and Kristin. We live in a small town in Washington and are super close with family here! We love to spend time outside whether that's going on walks together, going to our family's lake house during the summer, playing games and spend time with family and friends. We also look forward to our trips to Norway to visit family. There we spend lots of time hiking and relaxing in the mountains! We make church a big part of our lives and continue to keep Jesus at the center of our family. Adoption has always been part of our plan for building our family. After years of battling infertility, we felt led to pursue it earlier than expected. We are so confident that this timing has been part of God’s plan for our family all along, and we couldn’t be more excited!
I was born in St. Petersburg, Florida and grew up primarily in small town Iowa. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona - where I met the love of my life, Kristin!
I had a lot great experiences growing up, like theater, soccer, cross country, music, and of course, church. My faith is central to who I am. I’ve led worship at the churches I’ve been blessed to be a part of and still stay involved to this day. I like to fill my days by staying active with soccer, skiing, running, going on walks with Kristin, and spending time with friends.
My mother and oldest brother and sister-in-law still live in Florida and my second oldest brother and sister-in-law live in Idaho. This photo captures all of us together at his wedding which was an amazing time!
I went to college at Grand Canyon University and graduated with a bachelor’s in Christian Studies. After I moved up to Washington, I worked in support for a tech company and decided it was time for a change. I decided to become a firefighter and have the privilege of working for an agency here in Washington State. I have a passion to serve others no matter the circumstance and this job really allows me to do that!
I like to spend time with family and church community. I enjoy singing on the worship team at churhc, and like to try new coffee shops in the area with Kristin. I stay active by running, skiing, playing soccer, and lifting weights.
I was born and raised in here in Washington, but lived in Phoenix, Arizona for almost 6 years for college! I'm the middle child and have an older and younger brother who I am very close with! My mom moved here from Norway when she was 18, so I now have dual citizenship in Norway and the US! We spend lots of time visiting family in Norway and it is one of my favorite places ever! I've dreamed of being a mom my entire life, grew up babysitting and nannying all throughout high school and college - I'm blessed to be an auntie to 4 adorable nieces and nephews who are such a light in our lives!
My parents have been married 33 years and are so incredible! They live right down the road from us so we see them almost daily
My older brother is married with four kids and I absolutely adore being their auntie! They live closeby and we see them weekly for family dinners, kids' sports games, etc.
My younger brother recently moved to Arizona, but we are blessed to get to see him and his girlfriend pretty often! I am super close with him and we talk daily.
I have incredble grandparents, aunts and uncles, and lots of cousins both here in Washington and in Norway. I'm grateful for such a big and wonderful family.
I went to Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ followed by 2 years of Bible College in AZ as well. Tyler and I own a small digital marketing business and have several local clients that I work with. I love that I get to work from home and have a flexible schedule!
I love to spend time with friends and family, I love to bake, and take film photos. I enjoy being outside, in the winter that could look like cross country or downhill skiing. In the summertime we like to spend time at our family's cabin on the lake and go swimming and paddleboarding.
We were blessed to buy our first home in 2024. It’s in a quiet neighborhood full of young families, parks, and walking trails.
Traveling to Norway is one of our favorite things ever. We are blessed to have so much family there and so much to do outside! We also love to spend time at our family's cabin here in Washington and spend time on the lake.
