Our daughter Amelia is full of spunk, sass, and energy. She’s into giving hi-fives, blowing kisses, and eating string cheese and blueberries. She loves to stay active by going for “galks”, riding her strider bike, and being outside. The food storage container cabinet is her favorite place to be, and she has the BEST cheesy grin. We are so blessed and fortunate to have a great relationship with Amelia’s birth family and get to visit them every single year. We love being Amelia’s parents and can’t wait to find things to love and appreciate about her future sibling.

We’re Cassie and Jesse. We’ve been married for 8 years, and we’re a team in every sense of the word. We believe in showing up for the people we love, in doing what we say we’ll do, and in living with kindness and integrity. We’re people of our word - and we appreciate a good handshake.
Our home is full of warmth, laughter, and a little bit of organized chaos (Cassie’s specialty). Jesse is the kind of guy who can fix just about anything and make you laugh while doing it. He’s steady, thoughtful, and has a quiet strength that makes people feel safe. Cassie is the heart of our home - she’s nurturing, creative, and makes sure our house feels like home.
We speak kid well. Whether it’s silly voices at bedtime, dance parties in the kitchen, or answering the millionth “why?” of the day, we’re all in. We know how to have fun, and we believe childhood should be full of wonder, safety, and love.
If you choose us, your child will grow up knowing where they came from and how deeply they were loved from the very beginning. We’re open to staying connected in whatever way feels right to you—whether that’s through letters, photos, or visits.
I am a born and raised, small town, Washington guy. I am all about family, adventure, good Italian food, and anything with a motor and wheels. I love working with my hands. I am a mechanic by trade, but the action of learning and knowing how to do something physically has always been rewarding to me.
I am also a dreamer, always pursing goals and seeing how life can be more memorable and full of opportunity. On any given Saturday, I’m down to go out to a cafe for breakfast, explore a new area or city, all while listening to some good music - mainly country - then ending on the couch watching a really good movie with my wife and a bowl of ice cream. And all of that is so much more enjoyed when I get to experience all that with family.
I have an older sister and a younger brother, and it's always a treat when we are all in the same room. We reminisce about memories of growing up together, and always enjoy seeing each other when we go over to my parents house. Almost every week we either have a game night, a movie night, or we go out to dinner. We also enjoy going on bike rides or hikes together during the summer.
Additionally, we like to show up and support each other’s hobbies. Whether there’s a birthday party, school play, or a dirt bike competition, we always do our best to be there for EVERY member of the family.
Growing up, I was private schooled until 5th grade, then my parents transferred me to homeschooling, allowing more hands on learning and flexible schedule for traveling. After high school, I took a year off to work and save money before heading to a Bible College to pursue a degree in Youth Ministry and Counseling. Though I have a degree in ministry, most of my career life has been in the mechanical/automotive field. That knowledge and experience has led us to opening up our own shop where we specialize in diesel and custom builds.
I love anything with a motor and wheels - so much so, I made it my job! I enjoy building and driving vehicles that stand out in their appearance and sound. Outside of work, I enjoy dirt biking. I’ve been riding since I was 8. I’ve always dreamt of the day when I could ride with my own kids the way my dad rode with me. In addition, I also enjoy traveling. Growing up, we only ever traveled where the camper could go, and we love doing that as a family, but we also love traveling beyond and having the opportunity to see all the places in the world that we have only seen in pictures together. I also like playing guitar, listening to country music, and watching movies (both at the theater and at home).
Hello I’m Cassie. I’m proud to be a wife to Jesse, and mom to our baby girl Amelia. If I’m honest, being a wife and mom is what I’ve always dreamt of. I find myself in constant awe that I get to play the role I do in my family, and I get to watch them grow together, laugh together, and watch the Lord turn our family into something truly remarkable.
More about me:
Faith is the foundation of our home. I value Jesus deeply and strive to raise our children in an environment where they feel safe, loved, and free to become exactly who God created them to be. One of my favorite times of day is bedtime, when we all snuggle up to read Bible stories, sing songs, and pray together. It’s a sacred (and usually) peaceful moment that anchors our days.
I’m excited and hopeful about growing our family again through adoption. I believe every child deserves a home where they are celebrated, nurtured, and unconditionally loved—and that’s exactly what I’m committed to providing.
Cassie is the youngest of three siblings. Her older brother and older sister are both married and have children of their own, which means a lot of quality cousin time when we get to be together. Since they both live in Montana, it’s always special when we go on a road trip to go visit (which happens a few times every year). Whenever we do get to go visit, we love to take the older nieces and nephews out for a special date. Whether we are painting pottery, or taking the whole family to a movie, we enjoy all the time we can get.
Cassie’s family also comes to visit whenever they can, and Amelia loves getting time at home with her cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Every member of Cassie’s family is eager and excited for another baby to spoil and love.
Cassie has worked for a major corporation for almost 20 years and has held many positions. Currently, she works in a coffee shop during the early hours of the morning, allowing her to return home by the time Amelia wakes up, giving them the rest of the day together.
She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute and is happy to use her degree in her everyday life.
I enjoy getting outdoors whenever possible and spending time with family and friends.
A few things I enjoy myself include:
Cassie is also a bit of a thrill seeker. She’s been ziplining, parasailing, hang gliding and skydiving, and would gladly go again.

Our home is filled with warmth, music, bedtime stories, and lots of love. We live in a welcoming neighborhood with nearby parks, great schools, and a short drive to numerous outdoor activities, like hiking, biking, and paddleboarding.
We live on a roomy lot of land with a large front and backyard. We like having weeknight dinners on our front porch in the summer and enjoy waving to our neighbors when they drive by. We live within 5 minutes of a skate park, playgrounds, and a sports complex where soccer, baseball, and football are all popular. We also live close to hiking trails and love to get out and about as often as we can. We also enjoy that our house is located less than 10 minutes from 3 different lakes where we can swim, fish, and paddleboard.
