Hi, we are Austin and Hannah and we met the summer of 2019 in the college group at our church. I (Hannah) still remember walking to the patio of the building where Austin was grilling tacos (the location of our proposal a few years later). We both thought the other was cute but neither of us said anything at the time. We became friends and hung out in group settings throughout the summer. Following graduation from college I returned home to WA to stay and at the end of the summer he asked me out and we enjoyed our first date getting some tacos and going to a Mariner’s game! We introduced the topic of adoption early on since we both had a desire to grow our family through adoption. Austin's mom was adopted from Korea and Hannah saw adoption firsthand when her youth pastor adopted when she was younger. We both knew that we desired a partner who had the same passion for adoption.
I was born and raised in western WA and have remained in the area my whole life. I have one sister who lives in Utah with her husband and their dog. My parents have been married for 38 years and remain in the area as well. I went to the University of Washington and graduated with a political science degree. Following that I worked in youth ministry with middle and high school students for nine years. I’ve recently changed careers to become a financial advisor and love getting to meet people and help them manage their finances.
My parents live nearby and we are very close, they are always quick to lend a helping hand. My sister and brother-in-law are in Utah and we love spending time with them when we see one another.
I graduated from the University of Washington with a political science degree. Following that I worked in youth ministry with middle and high school students for nine years. I switched a little over a year ago to work for Bank of America/Merrill as a Financial advisor. I've loved helping people manage their finances.
Some of my hobbies include sports (especially the Mariners), grilling/smoking different foods and serving it up to a host of friends, and planning vacations/trips for Hannah and I to enjoy.
I was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Washington my second year of college. I have two siblings, a sister who is married with a beautiful baby girl and a brother who is married and has three boys. They both live in Arizona and Austin and I love getting to visit and spend time with our niece and nephews! My parents have been married for 34 years and reside close by. I went to Grand Canyon University and studied Nursing. I’ve been a nurse for the past few years and love serving my community!
I adore my family and have been so blessed to have amazing siblings. My parents and siblings are incredibly supportive and so excited for our adoption journey. They are quick to listen and help whenever we need. I couldn't do life without these people!
I attended Grand Canyon University for college and graduated with a degree in Nursing. I then followed that by working in a hospital for a couple of years and have since moved to an outpatient clinic. I have loved my work and love working within the community!
Some of my hobbies include music (I play guitar), good movies, and design including finding antique pieces and restoring them.
We bought our lovely home in 2022 just before we got married and have amazing neighbors that consist largely of young families. We are a short drive from one of our favorite places, the zoo! We are big animal lovers and love taking all the littles in our family!
One of our favorite places to travel to is Disney. I surprised Hannah our first year of marriage with Disneyland passes and since then we were hooked. We frequently travel back to California to enjoy Disneyland and occasionally head over to Florida for DisneyWorld as well. We also love a good Disney cruise! (Plus we’ve visited Disney Paris) Our friends often joke that we could become professional tour guides for Disneyland and I will say we’d do pretty good. P.S. Hannah’s favorite ride is Space Mountain and Austin’s is Radiator Springs Racers
