We have been married for over 9 years. It feels like just yesterday but also like we have been together our whole lives! We fell in love with each other because of each others' passion for Jesus and for this generation to know Jesus. Together, we have felt called to serve and make disciples of Jesus specifcially with kids, students, and young adults. We absolutely love spending our days walking along side families and serving the church. Our home is always open and full of families spending time together. Our whole marriage is built on bringing glory to God together.
SInce the beginning, It's always been our desire to grow our own family. When we first got married, we decided to grow our family biologically and through adoption. We truly believe that adoption is a beautiful display of God’s love for all of us. While we have experienced so many wonderful life adventures, we know parenthood will be our favorite one.
Jeremy was raised by his mom and grew up with his two brothers. All of which still live in TN. He also has a dad and sister who live in AZ. Both of us his brothers and his sister are happily married. Both brothers have two kids, a girl and a boy. Jeremy's grandma and aunt both live in FL.
I have graduated with a bachelor's degree in youth ministry and currently serve as the Next Gen Pastor of a church (overseeing birth-college)
I love golf and fishing and coaching sports. I currently coach football, wrestling, and soccer.
I really enjoy spending time with friends especially in smaller groups. I love the intentionallity of those moments and getting to connect. My biggest passion is getting to serve our church through Next Gen ministries. I also enjoy baking treats for others and reading while curled up on the couch or in the sunshine.
Megan was raised in a home with her mom, dad, and sister. All of which still live in TN. Megan's sister is happily married.
I went to college and received my degree in Elementary Education. Over the years, I have used my degree to work and serve in Kid's Ministry. I'm currently the Kid's Director at our church.
I enjoy connecting with others, baking, reading, and create a warm peaceful home.
We reside in a smaller town in Iowa, which offers the charm of a tight-knit community while being just minutes from the city. The atmosphere feels nostalgic, with families frequently taking strolls and children biking around joyfully. Neighbors greet each other with friendly waves. In our home, we strive to create a warm and welcoming environment. We often host friends and family, and we truly cherish our family-friendly space!
One of the reasons we moved to Iowa was for community. We found a great community of people here! Part of it is our involvement in the church. We are surrounded by lots of people here but also far away as well. Several of our closest friends have kids of their own, and a few affectionately call us “Uncle Jeremy” and “Aunt Megan.” We are truly thankful for our friends who have become family along the way. We believe in doing life together!
