We first met in 2005 at a local show. A couple months later, we officially met through mutual friends. We became best friends and realized we had so many things in common. In 2006, we officially started dating. In 2008, we were engaged and 6 months later were married. We became parents to our oldest son, Levi, in 2013 and a year later had another son, Knox. In 2020, we adopted our daughter, Nori. Together, we love to go on road trips, gather with friends and family, go camping, attend concerts, go to church, and play music together. We are ready to give our unconditional love to another child and expand our family through the miracle of adoption! Our goal as parents is to raise Jesus-loving children while encouraging them to pursue their interests and passions. We truly desire to be encouraging and supportive as they discover what they love and enjoy. This will be no exception for the little one God has in store for our family through adoption.
Marshall grew up in a small town amidst a family of 5. He grew up playing sports and spending time with neighborhood friends. He taught himself to play guitar in his teens and fell in love with music. Since then, he passionately attended local shows and music festivals as well as played music in several bands. He still very much enjoys playing music and attending concerts, but is now blessed to share these experiences with his family. Marshall is kind, patient, and level-headed and loves to share his skills, knowledge, and interests with his kids.
Ashley grew up in central Illinois and is an only child. She spent most of her childhood with her best friend, who she is still close to today. When she got into high school, music and art became extremely important. Any time there was a local show, she was there. She loves to be creative and make art. She loves to collaborate in making paintings with her kids. Knitting, making homemade products, and trying new recipes are some other things Ashley enjoys. She is a stay at home mom and also home schools our children. Ashley is creative, loves to dance and be goofy, and works hard for her family.
